Senior School

Year 7 to Year 12

We co-create learning

At BMGS, we believe students learn best when they’re active participants in their journey. Our Senior
School fosters a culture where students and teachers work together as co-creators of learning — with
educators acting as mentors, experts and guides. We focus on developing creativity, critical thinking and
deep understanding, personalising each pathway so students are meaningfully challenged, inspired and
equipped to shape their future.

Support for success

Wellbeing framework
Our students are known and cared for. Daily contact with tutors, guidance from our Dean of Students, support from our Chaplain, and access to qualified School Counsellors create a strong network that fosters wellbeing and belonging.
Enriched learning
We tailor learning to individual needs, offering in-class support, scaffolding, enrichment, and extension programs. By working in partnership with families, we help every student reach their personal best.
Preparing for life beyond school
From Year 10, students explore future pathways through structured work experience, careers advice, and industry and university visits. Our weekly careers newsletter ensures families are informed and ready for the next step.
Leaning into leadership
At BMGS, leadership is about mindset as much as role. Students learn to lead with purpose, whether or not they hold a formal title, and to influence their peers and community in positive, practical ways

Our favourite things

Senior School is all about finding what lights you up. It’s a time to try new things, dive deeper into what you love, and make memories along the way. From our award-wining Wild Ed program to creative pursuits and co-curricular activities, these are the experiences our students value most.

Caitlin

The drama opportunities are incredible. They have allowed me to explore my creative side. I have loved creating and performing plays and filming movies. I also love the Wild Education program. It was so exciting to be challenged with new outdoor activities such as rock climbing and canyoning. Overall, 91ÇÑ×Ó Grammar School is a special place.

Finn

91ÇÑ×Ó Grammar School is special to me because of its balance between academic excellence, sporting opportunities, and outdoor leadership prospects. Our school offers opportunities for every student to learn and grow both as an individual and as part of a community.

Ruby

I love BMGS because of the sports program, especially hockey and basketball. It has shaped some of my best memories, helped build strong friendships across year groups, and has made school more fun overall.

Bon

One thing I love about BMGS is the opportunity to learn and immerse ourselves in the beautiful natural environment of the 91ÇÑ×Ó. Getting the chance to strengthen connections with our peers and challenge ourselves makes our experience at 91ÇÑ×Ó Grammar school truly rewarding

Jed

What I love about 91ÇÑ×Ó Grammar School is the community. There’s something special about this school — how everyone helps each other out, especially during exam block — and it’s across all years. You’ll see Year 7s talking to Year 12s for advice.

Chloe-Rose

What I love about BMGS is the amazing sense of community, especially shown through the 45km Bungawarra Charity Walk. Students come together to challenge themselves while raising money for a great cause. It is a tradition that shows community spirit and gave me unforgettable memories with my peers.

Will

My favourite thing about BMGS is The Learning Odyssey program. I really like doing project-based learning and enjoy participating in showcase. I like the topics we are studying, including endangered Australian animals and designing an invention for older people.

Abbie

When I first came to BMGS in Junior School, I had anxiety and found it hard to make friends. As I grew older, I noticed more people including new students and supporting them, and now everyone feels welcome. I really love the sense of community here.

Elizabeth

The Grammar community has helped me develop passions into skills through continuous opportunities and support. Co-curricular sport, music, and drama have been especially valuable for learning leadership and collaboration, and I’ve made lifelong friends and unforgettable memories. Every rehearsal and training session has encouraged me to learn, listen, and grow.

Josh

I’m proud to be part of a community that encourages growth, creativity, and collaboration.

Frankie

I love BMGS because it feels like a big community where you quickly get to know everyone, and each person is equally unique and thoughtful. The learning enrichment is incredible, and we are supported by intelligent and engaging teachers. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
